Let your yarn do the work with this self-patterning base, Stormy. This fingering weight blend is perfect for sweaters, accessories, and socks as the touch of nylon adds a little extra strength. Stormy works up into a beautiful space-dyed effect in a variety of colors. Stormy comes in a skein, to best highlight its beauty and patterning. We recommend winding Stormy into a ball or cake before using.
Composition: 70% Superwash Wool 30% Nylon
Weight: 100 grams
Meters / Yards: 400 m / 434 yd (fingering weight)
Needle Size: 3.5 mm / US 4 (smaller needles for socks - 2.25 to 2.75 mm)
Care instructions: Wash in cool water, tumble dry on low, or lay flat to dry.
Note of caution: Due to its vibrant quality, we have found that this colorway tends to release dye into the wash basin while soaking. These dyes may transfer over to fibers in lighter colorways. For this reason, this colorway yarn is not recommended for projects that feature colorwork or striping.
Before wearing, hand wash garments separately with like colors in cool water using a gentle wool wash. Limit soaking time to 10 minute increments. Rinse thoroughly. Roll gently in an old towel to remove excess water and lay flat to dry.
