Winding River Cable Scarf Kit: A Lily Respair Design

The Kootenay region of British Columbia has long attracted creative people to live amongst the magical, rugged beauty that surrounds it. We are fortunate to draw artists such as Lily Respair, Knitwear designer, to our community, and Berkana Wool Shop is proud to carry several of her designs in kit form.

The Winding River Cable Scarf Kit is recommended for knitters who want to learn how to do cable and twisted stitches. This scarf is worked lengthwise, end to end, and was designed to use as much of the (included) 250 gram skein of Cascade Eco+ as possible. Lily reports she only had 11 gram left after completing it!

Each kit contains a printed copy of the pattern, including written and charted instructions for completing this classic cable creation. Included also, is one 250 gram skein of Cascade Eco+ in colour (9452) Summer Sky. You are welcome to request a substitution colour of the same yarn and we will do our best to accommodate your preference, depending on stock availability. The kit is packaged in an attractive organza bag, making it suitable for gift giving!
